Home Study

We've completed the last stage of the home study process, which was getting fingerprinted. Now I guess we wait for our background checks to come through, and get our immigration paperwork in. Meanwhile, Orphan Children Fund in Uganda is looking for an infant. We've told them we'd like either a boy or a girl, under a year old, and would consider twins. It's very hard to just sit and wait, but I guess we'll need to get used to that during this process. The Frazier family, who is preceding us and has given us lots of help and advice, has been over in Uganda for the past month, and though they've had a tough time (lots of red tape, baby got malaria), it sounds like things have finally come together, and will be coming home with their little one tomorrow!
