Idaho Reunion, and Beck gets potty trained!

The week before the annual Phillips family reunion in Buhl, Idaho, Michael was gone for a few days helping with Girl's camp, so I decided to give potty training a try.

I'd not been looking forward to it, and put it off for a bit with Lilah coming and all, but actually it went so well--she's a real champ, and had the whole thing down in a day and a half. Sure, we've had a set-back or two, but overall, this potty training thing is not as bad as you all say it is.

The reunion was a blast, thanks to the Padeken family who was in charge this year, but it was freezing cold--in August no less. Weird.

We played softball and football (well, others did. I mostly watched kids since I had Lilah as an excuse). With Tobias, you can't get a big group together without him begging a football game (he's playing for Provo High this year). I love this picture of he and Michael facing off. He said to me afterward "I had no idea my brother was so fast!" The old man can deliver.

Beck had no qualms about doing her thing right there on the sidelines.

Our cheerleading squad.

Thanks to Gretchen's family for letting us invade their home (and borrow warm clothes).
